"Dustin's Place" is named after my son with Down Syndrome whom has always had an interest in horses, but had finally found his true love and guardian angel in a little old Grey Shetland, named Nemo.
Brecht Stables & Dustin's Place is now located in Alpharetta, GA. in north Fulton county.

Western Lessons

I offer Western  lessons for small children from five years old to about twelve years old. Western lead lines lessons are a great way to see if your child would like to interact with horses and if they are ready to start taking lessons.

I offer full hour and halfimg_0047 hour lessons for each child and can do many different activities with the horses such as finger painting or hoof painting for younger children. During the lessons, each child will learn horse safety rules, body parts, how to properly walk and brush the horse and then of course play games during riding time.

I am very flexible as far as what is conducted during Lead line lessons. I understand that every child is different and that their attention level is very low at this young age.
